What you can donate:

These charities will accept the following items on the day:

  • All types of clothing
  • Accessories and jewellery
  • Manchester: Towels, tableware and tea towels
  • Bedding, linen and blankets
  • Shoes, boots and slippers
  • Homewares
  • Games, Toys, DVDs, CDs
  • Bags, hats, belts
  • Crockery, glassware
  • Queen, double and single bedframes
  • Chest of drawers
  • Bedside tables

By recovering valuable reusable items which may have been otherwise discarded during bulk verge collection or at the Recycling Centre, this event helps us reduce the amount of waste going to landfill while helping out those in need.

Event details:

This drive-in-and-drop-off event will be running from 9am to 3pm at Bill Grayden Reserve carpark, between Murray and Thelma Street (enter from Murray Street) in Como.

Como and Mill Point Rotary volunteers will assist in unloading items as attendees remain in their vehicles. Last vehicle will be accepted at 3pm.

Where possible, items should be presented in boxes and bags. All items are to be clean and undamaged.

Proof of residency not required.

Can't make it on the day? Items can be donated to the Recycling Centre during normal operating hours.
