George Burnett Leisure Centre
George Burnett Leisure Centre is the City of South Perth’s multi-purpose leisure facility. Located at George Burnett Park in Karawara, it offers a sports hall with basketball, badminton, soccer and volleyball courts, two seminar rooms and meeting rooms. The centre also runs a range of activities for the community.
Behind the facility is a reserve with a playground, barbecues, an ‘edible garden’ and an outdoor skate park.

The GBLC junior programs are for those children interested in sport who want to learn some skills in a social, fun and safe environment. The eight week programs are taught by experienced coaches and provide a great way for children to develop and master the fundamentals of selected games. Children will be taught skills and playing as a team. There are three clinics available - soccer, basketball and multisport.
Multi Sports is an after school sports program that caters for children aged between 18 months-12 years and gives participants of all levels a chance to try their hand at a range of different sports
The Junior Soccer Program is for children aged between 3-12 years. Children will learn ball skills, technique, footwork and field awareness.
The Junior Basketball Program is a great way for children aged 3-12 years to develop and master the fundamentals of the game. Taught by experienced coaches.
The Junior Netball Program is an after school sports program running throughout term catering for children aged between 4-10 years.
Learning from expert coaches, each week will build another skill until we put it all together and play a game.
Kids Art 'n' Craft
A mixed media art class for children aged 7–12 years. During the term our art students will get the opportunity to use different art mediums and further develop their drawing skills. All materials supplied.

School holiday program
The George Burnett Leisure Centre holiday program encourages children to live healthy, active, lifestyles while learning new skills.
The program offers a wide variety of sporting activities to encourage physical activity, participation and healthy lifestyles for kids!
School holiday activities include:
A basketball focused clinic where children will be taught dribbling, passing, shooting, game play and team skills. Sessions are provided for 5-10 year olds.
Children will try their hand at basketball, soccer, AFL and hockey. Sessions are provided for 3-5 and 5-10 year olds.
A soccer focused clinic where children will learn game play and team skills through games and fun activities. Sessions are provided for 5-10 year olds.
Participants will learn passing and shooting skills in fun games whilst playing in different competitions. Sessions are provided for 5-10 year olds.
Arts & Craft
Children will participate in a range of arts and craft activities. Sessions are provided for 5-12 year olds.
A fun filled morning of treat making. Sessions are provided for 5-12 year olds.
