Metro Inner DAP Meeting 3 April 2025
A Metro Inner Development Assessment Panel (DAP) Meeting has been scheduled on 3 April 2025 at the Department of Planning, Lands & Heritage.
ANZAC Day 2025 service
The City of South Perth, in partnership with the Victoria Park South Perth RSL Sub-Branch, invites the community to attend the 2025 ANZAC Day Service to honour the courage, sacrifice and legacy of Australian and New Zealand service personnel.
Waste and recycling update
Following our recent communications about our hard waste collection service, we want to assure our residents and ratepayers that we are investigating a range of waste collection and recycling solutions for our City.
Annual Gross Pollutant Trap Cleaning - Kwinana Freeway
Drainage maintenance works are planned to commence on the northbound lane of Kwinana Freeway, from Canning Hwy on-ramp to Mill Point Rd off-ramp, under the City and Main Roads WA drainage maintenance program.

Road Safety Improvement Works - Intersection of Canning Highway and Lansdowne Road
Road rehabilitation works will be happening on Ruth Street soon, repairing the road surfaces and surrounding infrastructure will prevent further deterioration and ensure they remain in good condition for years to come.

Footpath replacement works will be happening on Hensman and Waverley Streets soon, replacing old concrete slabs and constructing new 1.5m wide in situ concrete footpath.

Easter rubbish collection and opening hours 2025
City facilities will be closed on the public holidays over Easter. There will be no kerb side bin collections on Good Friday 29 April. Bins will be serviced the following day on Saturday 30 April.
