Art Collection
The City’s art collection contains an assortment of paintings, sculptures and historical artworks. At times, the artwork is made available for public viewing. For the majority of time, it is displayed throughout the City’s civic buildings.
The May and Herbert Gibbs collection, which makes up a part of the City’s art collection, is stored in containment and is displayed on occasion at Heritage House by the South Perth Historical Society. Due to the delicate nature and preservation of some of these art works, some pieces are only rarely displayed.
