City welcomes Coalition commitment for Recreation and Aquatic Facility
The City has welcomed an election commitment of $20 million from the Coalition Government for a Recreation and Aquatic Facility to be located within the City.
Easter rubbish collection and opening hours
There will be no kerb side bin collections on Good Friday 19 April. Bins will be serviced the following day on Saturday 20 April. The City's facilities will be closed on Good Friday 19 April, Easter Monday 22 April and ANZAC Day Thursday 25 April.

Intergenerational Tai Chi/Chi Kung Play with Louise Walker
‘Chi Kung play’ will utilise fun props such as ribbons and light sabres, incorporating balancing games and other playful activities to encourage people of all ages to give Tai Chi / Chi Kung a try. Classes are free, bookings essential.
The South Perth Returned and Services League (sub-branch) in conjunction with the City of South Perth will host an Anzac Day service in the City’s Memorial Gardens. This service will mark the 104th anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli.
