Trading in Public Places
The City’s Public Places and Local Government Property Local Law 2011 governs the use of and activities on City owned or managed land including City reserves, parks and car park areas.
If you are the operator of a mobile food vehicle or food stall and wish to trade on City owned or managed land, you are required to complete a 'Temporary food premises application' through mySouthPerth. For any non-food related activity, please complete and lodge a Trading Licence Application Form.
Assessment of an application considers the proposed location and impact the activity may have on established businesses close by, other traders, traffic safety and the amenities at the desired location.
Some businesses may also require a reserve permit and a trading licence if the business is based on a park or a reserve.
