Aerial mosquito larvicide treatment - postponed until Wednesday 16 November 2022

An aerial larvicide treatment, scheduled for Tuesday 15 November, has been postponed due to Perth Airport runway changes.

Exact treat time is subject to helicopter availability, weather conditions and Perth Airport advice. 

The aerial larvicide treatment by Heliwest is now planned for Wednesday 16 November 2022 between 9am and 5pm. We will be using Vectoprime FG to be applied at label rates. 

The treatment in the wetland area south of Waterford from Cygnia Cove to the Salter Point Lagoon, will be carried out in accordance with the City’s Mosquito Management Plan, following recent high tides which have inundated the wetlands..
