Mobile CCTV installed following suspected tree poisoning on South Perth foreshore
The City has installed its mobile CCTV unit near Lake Douglas on the South Perth foreshore after a young tall tree—believed to have been deliberately poisoned—was discovered. The affected tree is located near, but not part of, the six trees approved for removal by Council on 22 July 2025.

To be eligible to vote in the 2025 election, you must have been registered on the State electoral roll as a resident or on the City of South Perth Non-Resident Owners and Occupiers Roll by 5pm, Friday 22 August 2025.

The City of South Perth is calling on local businesses, community groups, sporting clubs and organisations to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to help activate the City’s neighbourhoods through temporary events and activities.
