Library computer upgrades and new hours
We're upgrading the public computers in our libraries to Windows 11 to enhance system security and ensure ongoing compatibility with Microsoft 365 services.
Call Centre temporary outage
From 7.30am to 8am on 5 November the Call Centre will be unavailable to respond to customer queries.
Lighting upgrades at Neil McDougall Park
On 10 November, the City will install new electrical lighting along the pedestrian path at Neil McDougall Park, Como. Work is expected to be completed by early December
Road Rehabilitation Works - Manning Road (westbound) between Drogheda Way and Waterford Avenue
On Monday 17 November, the City will begin road rehabilitation works on Manning Road, Waterford, between Drogheda Way and Waterford Avenue. Works will be carried out at night and take approximately three weeks.
Road Rehabilitation Works - Douglas Avenue between Mill Point Road and Shaftesbury Street
On Monday 17 November, road rehabilitation works will be happening on Douglas Avenue, South Perth - between Mill Point Road and Shaftesbury Street. The works will be carried out at night and take approximately four weeks to complete.
2025/26 Firebreak Notice
All owners and occupiers of land within the City’s district are required before 1 December 2025 to clear firebreaks or to take measures in accordance with this notice up to and including 30 April 2026.

Underground power works start in Kensington this November
The South Perth Kensington Underground Power Project starts in November, connecting over 2,000 properties to underground power by mid-2027.
