New feature lighting installed at Moresby Reserve
New feature uplighting has been installed at Moresby Reserve, Kensington as part of the City’s 2024/25 works program. The lights run on an automated schedule and will change colours throughout the year to mark key cultural and community events.
Coode Street foreshore reopens following emergency repairs
Emergency repairs were carried out at the Coode Street riverbank foreshore near the Boatshed Restaurant on Friday 25 July 2025, after heavy rainfall and overland runoff caused significant erosion.
Road rehabilitation works - Crawshaw Crescent, Como
Road rehabilitation works will begin on Crawshaw Crescent, Como (between Ley Street and Pether Road) from11 August 2025. The six-week project includes resurfacing and minor upgrades. Some property access and reticulation may be temporarily affected. Updates will be provided on the City’s website.
Cr Nic Coveney resigns
