Pedestrian safety improvements - intersection of Anstey and Angelo Streets
The City is pleased to announce the upcoming construction of a new pedestrian zebra crossing at the intersection of Anstey and Angelo Streets, South Perth. Works are scheduled to commence late January 2026 and will be completed by February 2026.
Community turns out for Recycling Centre Open Day
The City hosted its first-ever Recycling Centre Open Day on Saturday 22 November. Locals of all ages attended the free, family-friendly event to dispose of their recyclables responsibly, learn about sustainable practices and explore the Centre’s facilities.
City recognised for excellence in engagement on Karawara Access Plan
The City of South Perth has been recognised on the state stage for its work on the Karawara Pedestrian and Cycle Access Plan (KPACAP), receiving a commendation in the Stakeholder Engagement category at the Planning Institute of Australia 2025 WA Awards for Planning Excellence.
