Adoption of revised local planning policy P303
The City of South Perth Council adopted a revised local planning policy P303 - Design Review Panel at the Ordinary Council Meeting held on 17 December 2019.
Aerial mosquito treatment on 10 January
The City is planning to undertake an aerial larvicide treatment by Heliwest on the 10 January 2020 between 9am and 3pm. The treatment will occur in the wetland area south of Waterford from Cygnia Cove through to the Salter Point Lagoon.
Extraordinary Election call for nominations
An extraordinary election will be held on Friday 28 February 2020 in the City of South Perth to fill the Moresby Ward vacancy.

Manning Road On-ramp Road works start 6 January
Commencing January, Manning Road between Ley Street and Kwinana Freeway in Como will be reduced to one lane in each direction. This closure will enable modification of the existing road to accommodate the new freeway ramp.
Kwinana Freeway Northbound overnight freeway closure January - 20 February 2020
Sections of the Kwinana Freeway northbound will be closed overnight from Sunday to Thursday for up to six weeks starting Sunday 12 January 2020
Water Corporation replacing pipes in Manning
Water Corporation will be replacing the water pipes along Parsons Avenue between Cornish Crescent and Welwyn Avenue in Manning. Work will take place the week starting Monday 6 January 2020 and will take around 5 weeks to complete.

There will be an Extraordinary Election on 28 February 2020 to fill Mayor Greg Milner's former Moresby Ward Councillor position. Moresby Ward residents have until 9 January to enrol to vote if not already on the roll.
