The young and young at heart will share their love of stories, rhymes, songs and craft at the South Perth Libraries inaugural Intergenerational Storytime event.
The Old Mill will reopen to the public on Thursday 5 September 2019. From September until the end of 2019, the Old Mill will be open to the public 10am-4pm Thursdays and Fridays, and 1-4pm Saturdays and Sundays.
Knitter Natter is a self-run knitting and crocheting club for people of all skill levels. You can work on your own projects or pick up one of our bi-monthly challenge missions to help create toys, blankets or clothing items for charity.
On Wednesday 7 August 2019 our library staff will be wearing a flannelette shirt for Flannie Day to help raise awareness and take action on homelessness and hunger in Australia.
The Old Mill has stood proudly on the South Perth peninsula since 1835, but this year the historic building is receiving some much needed care and attention. Works will commence 4 June and will take approximately 11 weeks.
