Live Art Studio - Chamonix Higginson | 2025 Evolve

As part of the  Evolve - Arts, Events and Culture Winter Program the City of South Perth has selected two artists to participate in a series of two Live Art Studios.

During each Artist's residency, the community will be provided with the opportunity to meet a working artist while they create an artwork.

Chamonix Higginson will be creating a large-scale woven textile art piece using felted wool in the Manning Library.

Chamonix Higginson is a multidisciplinary artist and intuitive strategist working with art as vibrational medicine. Through large-scale textile installations and immersive experiences, she creates sacred spaces that foster harmony, emotional wellbeing, and creative potential. Her work explores the interconnectedness of all things, inviting a sense of wholeness and elevating collective consciousness.

Chamonix will be working on this artwork at the following times:

• Tuesday 22 July: 10am-12pm and 1-3pm 
• Wednesday 23 July: 10am-12pm and 1-3pm 
• Thursday 24 July: 10am-12pm and 1-3pm 
• Friday 25 July: 10am-12pm and 1-3pm 
• Saturday 26 July: 10am-2pm 
• Monday 28 July: 10am-12pm and 1-3pm 
• Tuesday 29 July: 10am-12pm and 1-3pm 
• Wednesday 30 July: 10am-12pm and 1-3pm 
• Thursday 31 July: 10am-12pm and 1-3pm 
• Friday 1 August: 10am-12pm and 1-3pm 
• Saturday 2 August: 10am-2

This temporary live art studio will be on display from Tuesday 22 July until Saturday 2 August 2025, during Manning Library opening hours.
