Collier Park Golf Course redevelopment update

News Update 11 July 2025

The redevelopment of Collier Park Golf Course is getting a head start with the installation of new safety netting for the driving range beginning in August.

The nets are the first part of the project to tee off, with the construction tender for upgraded facilities being released later this year. The nets will form the backdrop for the planned two-storey driving range, which will feature state-of-the-art technology in every bay.

To accommodate this work, the driving range will be closed for approximately 810 weeks, beginning 11 August, subject to weather and construction progress.

The 27-hole course will remain open and unaffected. Short-game facilities, the mini golf course, golf shop and café will also stay open.

However, venue closing hours will be adjusted, with all facilities closing 30 minutes after sunset during the winter months.

This upgrade marks the first step in a major redevelopment project planned for the course to transform the golf course into a world-class golfing venue and community hub which can be used by all members of the community.

The redevelopment will include:

  • a new restaurant/cafe
  • a new entertainment-based double-story driving range fitted with technology
  • a dedicated function space
  • padel tennis courts
  • a new retail shop and office space
  • an all-abilities playground
  • commercial/community space
Construction is expected to start in late 2025.
