Road rehabilitation works
Every year the City identifies roads within our community that are in need of rehabilitation, including repairs to the road surface and surrounding infrastructure, in order to prevent any further deterioration and avoid costly repairs in the future.
The road works can include:
- Road resurfacing (with asphalt)
- Kerb replacement
- Drainage structure upgrades
- Minor footpath upgrades.

City secures funding to improve road safety
The City of South Perth has secured State Government funding to improve road safety, including $127,567 as part of the State Black Spot Program, and $148,395 as part of the Low-Cost Urban Road Safety Program.
Road works to begin 2 September at Ruth Street in Como
The City of South Perth will be conducting Road Rehab works on Ruth Street, between Brittain and Eleanor Streets, in Como from Monday 2 September 2024. Works will take approximately four weeks, between the hours of 7am and 5pm, weather permitting.
