All people entering the facility should demonstrate respectful and courteous behaviour.
Abusive, aggressive, or anti-social behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. Offenders may be asked to leave the premises immediately. Acts of vandalism or physical abuse will result in automatic suspension from the facility and may lead to legal action.
Anyone under the influence or is suspected to be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol will be refused entry or asked to leave the facility.
This is a non-smoking and non-vaping facility. Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the facility and within 10 metres of the building.
This facility is under video surveillance, and the videos and images will be used to ensure acceptable behaviours are followed at all times and may be used in prosecutions or other purposes as determined by the City.
Do not enter the facility if you are feeling unwell. Sharp objects (except for medical devices) are not permitted.
All patrons must wear appropriate clothing and footwear based on the area of use:
- Sport activity: Enclosed shoes and appropriate fitness attire.
- Other areas: Shirt/top, pants/shorts, and shoes must be worn at all times.
In case of an emergency, you must follow directions given by the facility employees in an orderly manner. In case of an after-hours emergency, you and people under your care must leave the facility immediately. The fire brigade and Security monitoring will be notified automatically.
Report any issues and incident to facility employees. You may use the Incident Reporting form which is available at the reception counter.
No scooters, skateboards, bikes or other items determined by the City are to be brought into the facility.
The use of cameras, including smartphones, is strictly prohibited in all change rooms and toilet areas.
Photography or video recording in other areas is allowed only under the following conditions:
- You must obtain consent from all individuals being photographed or filmed.
- Any recording for promotional, media, or archival purposes must be approved by the City.
No animals or pets are permitted inside the facility, except for guide dogs or assistance animals as permitted by law.
Please use equipment relevant to your booking safely and return it to its designated location after use.
Report any damaged or faulty equipment to facility employees immediately.
Bringing food or drinks into the facility is subject to strict hiring arrangements. Food and beverages (with the exception of water) are not permitted within the Sports Hall.
This is a glass-free facility; only bring in plastic water bottles.
The City is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. It is recommended to not leave belongings unattended.
Children aged 11 years and under entering the facility must be supervised at all times by an adult (i.e. person over the age of 18 years).
City facility employees are available during normal opening hours to assist you. Please follow all directions given by the employees.
Under the City’s Public Places and Local Government Property Local Law refusal of entry and/or removal of patrons and visitors will be enacted at the discretion of an authorised person.
