Recreation and Aquatic Facility site selection
As part of the City's investigations into the feasibility and funding opportunities for a Recreation and Aquatic Facility (RAF) for the City of South Perth and surrounding area, a number of potential site locations have been identified.

Smoking ceremony marks start of Connect South construction
A Noongar smoking ceremony was held on the Connect South project site on South Perth Foreshore to recognise the Noongar/Bibbulmun people and their significant contribution to the City of South Perth and mark the start of construction of the significant City project to reinvigorate the Mends Street precinct.

Connect South preliminary works start
Connect South will shortly enter the construction phase. Preliminary site works will commence from 7am Thursday 31 January.
