Road rehabilitation works
Every year the City identifies roads within our community that are in need of rehabilitation, including repairs to the road surface and surrounding infrastructure, in order to prevent any further deterioration and avoid costly repairs in the future.
The road works can include:
- Road resurfacing (with asphalt)
- Kerb replacement
- Drainage structure upgrades
- Minor footpath upgrades.

Kwinana Freeway overnight closures - 10 to 14 March
Main Roads WA has advised the Mill Point Road on ramp to the Kwinana Freeway will be closed Tuesday 10 March to Thursday 13 March between 9pm and 5am.

Road works on Welwyn Ave, Manning begin 16 March
The works will take approx 4 weeks to complete, weather permitting. Works will be confined to the hours of 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Kwinana Freeway Mill Point Road On-Ramp Closures
The on-ramp will be closed 11pm to 5am, Monday 2 March to Thursday 5 March. Detours will be in place via Labouchere Road, South Terrace, Canning Highway and the Causeway.

Road works - Thelma Street, Como
Night road works will begin this Thursday 20 February to Wednesday 26 February 2020 on Thelma Street between Coode Street and Canning Highway.
Road Rehabilitation Works - Elderfield Rd, Waterford
The City will be undertaking road rehabilitation work on Elderfield Road between Fairview Gardens & Kilkenny Circle, Waterford, commencing 24 February for approximately 3 weeks to complete.

The City will be undertaking road rehabilitation work on Challenger Avenue between Henning Crescent and Griffin Crescent, Manning, commencing 10 February for approximately 4 weeks to complete.
Kwinana Fwy shared path update
The Kwinana Freeway PSP between the Hardy Street footbridge and the Narrows Bridge reopened on Saturday 18 January. The remainder of the PSP is on track to be open by the end of January 2020.

Manning Road On-ramp Road works start 6 January
Commencing January, Manning Road between Ley Street and Kwinana Freeway in Como will be reduced to one lane in each direction. This closure will enable modification of the existing road to accommodate the new freeway ramp.
