Road rehabilitation works
Every year the City identifies roads within our community that are in need of rehabilitation, including repairs to the road surface and surrounding infrastructure, in order to prevent any further deterioration and avoid costly repairs in the future.
The road works can include:
- Road resurfacing (with asphalt)
- Kerb replacement
- Drainage structure upgrades
- Minor footpath upgrades.

Footpath construction - Greenock Ave, Como
Commencing 14 April, the City will construct a new 1.8m wide concrete footpath at Greenock Avenue between Coode Street and Robert Street, Como.
Cale Street footbridge closure
The Cale Street footbridge will be closed between 8 April and 20 April as part of the Main Roads WA Smart Freeways project.
Road Rehabilitation Works - Sandgate St, South Perth
The City will be undertaking road rehabilitation work on Sandgate Street between South Terrace and Norton Street, South Perth commencing 20 April 2020. Works are expected to take 3 weeks to complete.

The City will be undertaking road rehabilitation work on Coode St between Alston Ave and Canning Hwy, Como commencing 6 April 2020 for approximately 3 weeks to complete.

Kwinana Freeway overnight closures - 10 to 14 March
Main Roads WA has advised the Mill Point Road on ramp to the Kwinana Freeway will be closed Tuesday 10 March to Thursday 13 March between 9pm and 5am.

Road works on Welwyn Ave, Manning begin 16 March
The works will take approx 4 weeks to complete, weather permitting. Works will be confined to the hours of 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Kwinana Freeway Mill Point Road On-Ramp Closures
The on-ramp will be closed 11pm to 5am, Monday 2 March to Thursday 5 March. Detours will be in place via Labouchere Road, South Terrace, Canning Highway and the Causeway.
