Road rehabilitation works
Every year the City identifies roads within our community that are in need of rehabilitation, including repairs to the road surface and surrounding infrastructure, in order to prevent any further deterioration and avoid costly repairs in the future.
The road works can include:
- Road resurfacing (with asphalt)
- Kerb replacement
- Drainage structure upgrades
- Minor footpath upgrades.

Main Roads WA will be conducting resurfacing works on Canning Highway between Berwick Street and South Terrace, South Perth between Tuesday 15 March to Thursday 31 March 2022.

Foreshore cycle path upgrades
An upgrade to the shared path between Queen Street and Millers Pool is now complete and the path is back open.
Road rehabilitation works on South Terrace
As part of the 2021/22 Capital Works Program, the City will be undertaking road rehabilitation works along South Terrace and Labouchere Road from 17 January 2022.

The City will be undertaking road rehabilitation work on Jackson Road between Walanna Drive and Kent Street, Karawara commencing Saturday, 15 January 2022 for approximately 3 weeks.
