April school holidays in the City

News Update 29 March 2022

There's lots to see and do in the City during the April school holidays.

Below are just some of the highlights you can discover. Visit the Discover section of the website for more inspiration.

Our libraries' free program of events is suitable for all ages and includes two special Story Times under the trees at Bill McGrath Reserve and Bodkin Park. The George Burnett Leisure Centre half-day indoor sports clinics will teach kids new skills in a fun and safe environment.

For kids of all ages, the City is excited to partner with other local governments for the inaugural WA Tree Festival, celebrating trees in our neighbourhoods. Get beyond the bark to understand the vital role our trees play with workshops, school holiday activities, art installations, trails and wellness experiences.

Celebrating young people aged 10-25, WA Youth Week is running from 8-16 April 2022 with a range of fun free activities. This year the City has a diverse program including workshops focusing on such things as sustainability and writing to augmented reality games and immersive events.
