Public health measures to mitigate COVID-19 will ease on Friday 29 April 2022. The modified measures now in place for certain City services, programs, facilities, events and situations are summarised below.
- Indoor mask mandate lifted - No more masks will be required at City venues, indoor gatherings or at outdoor spaces. Masks are encouraged where physical distancing isn’t possible.
- All COVID-19 capacity and gathering limits for indoor and outdoor City venues will be lifted.
- Proof of vaccination requirement will be removed for entry to all City facilities excluding residential aged care facilities.
- If you are feeling unwell or displaying any COVID-19 symptoms please isolate and refrain form visiting City facilities until you receive a negative test or are feeling better.

City facilities and services to reopen this weekend
The City is preparing to reopen a range of facilities and services following the State Government’s announcement last week about phase three easing of restrictions.
WA Roadmap Phase 3 announced
Stage 3 easing of restrictions will come into effect from Saturday 6 June and we will advise how this will impact City services and facilities over the coming week.
