Partnership key to Swan Canning River Recovery
Federal Minister for Environment, Hon Melissa Price MP and Federal Member for Swan, Hon Steve Irons MP visited the City this week to tour the Salter Point Reserve where Conservation Volunteers Australia have been restoring natural foreshore habitat of the Canning River.

Aerial mosquito treatment on 20 March
The City is planning to undertake an aerial larvicide treatment by Heliwest on Wednesday 20 March 2019 in the wetland area south of Waterford from Cygnia Cove through to the Salter Point Lagoon.
Redmond Reserve boardwalk and staircase closure - contractors invited to submit quotes
The boardwalk located at the bottom of Redmond Street in Salter Point will undergo maintenance works and is anticipated to be open by the second half of 2019.
