Be part of the City’s season of arts, events and culture

Media Release 7 August 2017

The City of South Perth is inviting expressions of interest from artists, event organisers, community groups and businesses who would like to be part of the City’s annual arts, events and culture program, running from November 2017 to April 2018.

Throughout the spring to autumn season, the City will celebrate the community and our spaces with a series of unique events, temporary public art and an array of cultural activities.

Through this program, the City will also support a range of activities presented by external groups and individuals.

The program will feature the City’s iconic Australia Day celebrations on 26 January 2018, the summer concert held in conjunction with the Commonwealth Games Queen’s Baton Relay which will journey through South Perth on 24 February 2018 and the ever popular Angelo Street Marketplace on 25 March 2018.

Other key events will include a concert for seniors, children’s theatre, live comedy, and the return of ‘Find Me’ activities popping up in unexpected places across the City.

This is a great opportunity to connect with the community, showcase your talent or organisation and align yourself with the City. To be considered, all events and activities must be held within the City of South Perth and be high quality, inclusive and accessible to the community.
