Hire a Hall or Venue

The City has a number of community halls and rooms available for casual and regular group hire. There are function rooms available to suit a range of event styles and requirements including seminars, conferences, corporate functions, exhibitions, weddings and private events.

There are also a number of sporting facilities and other venues in the City that you can contact directly to arrange a booking. Please refer to the 'other venues for hire' tab below.

Manning Community Hall

Manning Community Hall is located at the new, state of the art Manning Comunity Centre and offers an open space for a wide range of functions including conferences, seminars, corporate functions, exhibitions, weddings and private events.

South Perth Community Hall

Centrally located within six kilometres of Perth CBD, the South Perth Community Hall is a multi use function venue with views overlooking parks and the City. Located within the South Perth Community Centre, the Hall offers an open space for all functions with ample free parking.

John McGrath Pavilion

John McGrath Pavilion is a new state of the art community facility located at Ernest Johnson Reserve. The pavilion is available for hire for functions and events.

John McGrath Hall

Located at Ernest Johnson Reserve, John McGrath Hall is a new community facility for hire for functions and events.

George Burnett Leisure Centre

Located just 15 minutes drive from Perth CBD with free parking, George Burnett Leisure Centre offers a choice of four modern air conditioned rooms as well as a sports hall for hire.

Collins Street Centre

The Collins Street Centre comprises a large hall and two meeting rooms and is suitable for functions, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, weddings and private events.

Collier Pavillion

Located on Collier Reserve in Como, Collier Pavillion is available for hire for small functions.

Moresby Street Hall

The Moresby Street Hall offers space for small functions, exhibitions, weddings and private events.

Morris Mundy Pavillion

Located next to Morris Mundy Reserve in Kensington, the pavillion is available for hire for small functions or in conjunction with the hire of the sporting reserve.

South Perth Library Mopoke Meeting Room

Located at the front of the South Perth Library, the Library Meeting Room is a great space for meetings, seminars or training courses.

Manning Library Function Room

The Manning Library Function Room is suitable for smaller groups for seminars, meetings, and training.

Old Mill Cultural Hub

The Old Mill Cultural Hub is an air-conditioned venue suitable for small functions, meetings and cultural events.

Alcohol Consumption or Sale in a City Facility or Reserve

If an event or function is being organised where alcohol will be available within a City of South Perth facility or reserve you will need to obtain the appropriate liquor licence.
