Update on footpath replacement - Gladstone Avenue

The City of South Perth will soon begin footpath replacement works on Gladstone Avenue as part of the 2025/26 Slab Replacement Program.

This notice follows the initial notification and news update. Following an on-site review and resident feedback, the project scope has been expanded to include both sides of Gladstone Avenue between Jameson and Shaftesbury Streets.

The works will involve removing existing concrete slabs and constructing a new 1.5m-wide concrete footpath along both verges.

Construction will begin on one side of the street, with works on the other side commencing Thursday 11 September 2025. A footpath will remain available throughout the project.

Residents will be notified directly, and updates will be available on the City’s website.
