A Community Information Session will be held on Wednesday 25 May 2022 to give residents in the South Perth and Hurlingham area a chance to learn more about the next local underground power project.

A large area of the City has already been transformed, with the recent completion of the City’s largest underground power program in the Collier Park area, bound by Canning Highway, Ryrie Avenue, Blamey Place and South Terrace.

The South Perth and Hurlingham project, which will be delivered in partnership with the State Government and Western Power, is expected to be begin in September 2022.

Following Council approval for this Retrospective Undergrounding Power Project, the City has recently delivered information to affected property owners and will host a Community Information Session to give residents and ratepayers an opportunity to speak with City and Western Power representatives.
