South Perth Foreshore cycle path upgrades

News Update 11 February 2022

Works to install three raised priority bike crossings on the South Perth Foreshore in the vicinity of the Coode Street carpark is nearing completion.

Main Roads WA are scheduled to install regulatory signs and line markings by the end of the February. In the meantime, the City is asking all road and path users to take extra care through the area.

All road users (cyclists and drivers) must give way to the right and drive to conditions – slow down and take care.

This is a temporary solution whilst we wait for Main Roads WA to approve and install new signs and road markings. Once installed, cyclists will have priority.

Cyclists, drivers and pedestrians should all take a cautious approach, travel at a speed and please watch out for others.
