Civic Heart construction set to commence

Construction for the Civic Heart development in South Perth is commencing in early January 2021 and will take approximately three years to complete.

The Civic Heart site development will include two towers of 39 and 22 storeys, including 309 residential dwellings, commercial and retail tenancies.

Bound by Labouchere Rd, Mill Point Rd and Mends St, the surrounding area will be directly affected by temporary changes to road and pedestrian access, speed limits and parking.

Weekly activities in relation to traffic management and associated detours for pedestrians and vehicles will be reported weekly on the City’s website under the Roads and Footpath Works section.

Throughout construction the City will work with the builder Michael Hanssen and developer Finbar to ensure the safe delivery of this project. City Officers will issue approvals for works within the road reserve and also confirm compliance to all approvals and relevant standards and conditions relating to the construction of the project.

Working hours will be from 7am to 7pm (latest) Monday to Friday and 7am to 6pm (latest) on Saturdays.
