Cricket wicket and turf upgrades at City reserves

As part of a $50,000 grant from Cricket Australia, the City is installing a new synthetic cricket wicket at Challenger Reserve, as well as upgrading the synthetic training nets and turf at a number of reserves around the City.

Works commenced in October and are due for completion in December 2019.

Upcoming works:

Thursday 21 November - Match wicket to be laid at Challenger Reserve in Manning. Synthetic turf in cricket nets upgraded at James Miller Oval and Hensman Reserve in South Perth.

Week beginning 25 November
– Synthetic turf in cricket nets upgraded at Morris Mundy Reserve, Kensington

Week beginning 2 December
- Synthetic turf in cricket nets upgraded at George Burnett Park, Karawara
