The newly completed Canning Bridge to Curtin University Bike Link introduces safe active streets, upgraded shared paths, and a pocket park for those who walk, wheel or ride each day.

Supported by the State Government through the WA Bicycle Network grants program, this initiative reflects the City's ongoing commitment to enhancing infrastructure that offers safe travel options beyond driving.

Mayor Greg Milner highlighted that the new bike route simplifies the use of active transport for daily commutes.

"Whether you cycle, walk, or drive, we've crafted our streets and pathways to ensure they're comfortable and inviting for everyone in our community," Mayor Milner said.
