Have your say on Draft Canning Bridge Design Review Panel Policy

Media Release 27 April 2022
Canning Bridge

Community members in the City of South Perth are invited to have their say on the draft Canning Bridge Design Review Panel Policy, with public feedback open until Wednesday 18 May.

The draft Policy has been prepared to provide guidance on the operation of the Canning Bridge Design Review Panel (CBDRP), ensuring greater transparency across commentary reported by CBDRP members.

The Canning Bridge Design Review Panel was established in 2016 by the Cities of South Perth and Melville to provide independent expert design advice on development applications for land within the boundaries of the Canning Bridge Activity Centre Plan.

Currently, the CBDRP is operating under the provisions of a Management Practice, however, a draft Local Planning Policy has now been prepared to ensure comments are reported in a more consistent and transparent manner.

Feedback closes at 4pm, Wednesday 18 May and can be provided online via Your Say South Perth.
