Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud

NAIDOC Week is a time to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements and recognise the contribution Indigenous Australians make to our country and our local communities.

The 2024 National NAIDOC Week theme is ‘Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud’.

This year's theme celebrates the unyielding spirit of our communities and invites all to stand in solidarity, amplifying the voices that have long been silenced.

Free NAIDOC Week events and activities will be held across the City and we encourage everyone to participate in our celebrations.
