The City is hosting free craft workshops and drop-in sessions at Manning Library.

Ex-Bo at Manning is a series of community art workshops that result in a combined display in the Box Gallery, at Manning Hub. This permanent public gallery is located on the walkway between the Manning Library and the Welwyn Ave shopping district, and is enjoyed by hundreds of passers by each week.

The theme for ExBo 2024 is celebrating the Earth with a focus on sustainable practices. With this in mind, the facilitator for the 2024 sessions will be ReMida, Perth's creative reuse centre. ReMida collectbusiness and industry offcuts and discards, which are directly repurposed into arts and education activities. The organisation also supports the WA community by providing opportunities for connectedness and education. 

The City of South Perth's Ex-Bo sessions will encourage participants to create art with reused materials as well as those found in natureSelected artworks will be displayed at the Box Gallery for the community to enjoy.

Complimentary tea and coffee are available but in the interests of more sustainable living please BYO mug &/or water bottle.
