The Summer Reading Quest is back! Visit South Perth or Manning Library and collect a reading booklet to complete over the holidays. Record how long you read each day for your chance to win some great prizes.

Choose from the summer steps card for children under five, reading log for children over five and a special adventure card full of fun literacy activities. 

Both libraries will have Summer Reading Quest displays to encourage children to keep up their reading during the holidays. 

About Summer Reading Quest

Summer Reading Quest is a state-wide reading challenge designed to create excitement and adventure around reading. 

Children can participate in one of two challenges:

  • Summer Steps Card - for children under 5 years
  • Summer Reading Quest Booklet (includes Adventure Card and Reading Log) - for junior adventurers aged 5+
