Join us in celebrating reading across the nation during Animal Encounter Week at the library.
Come along to South Perth Library or Manning Library for a special Story Time sessions over the week and take part in our National Simultaneous Storytime celebrations!
Session times
- South Perth Library - 10.30-11.30am, Tuesday 20 May
- Manning Library - 10.30-11.30am, Wednesday 21 May
The event is free and bookings are not required.
Come along and hear the National Simultaneous Story - The Truck Cat by Deborah Frenkel & Danny Snell, along with some other animal stories and activities.
Recommended for children aged 2-5 years.
About National Simultaneous Storytime
National Simultaneous Storytime is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Every year a picture book is read on the same day at the same time across Australia in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places.
