City Libraries earn eSmart accreditation

Keeping kids safe online is easier for parents at the City's Libraries, which have recently received eSmart accreditation from the Alannah & Madeline Foundation. 

The City's Libraries provide a range of Online Resources for 'Kids and Teens' and encourage the smart, safe and responsible use of online services and digital technologies in the community.

• Keep log in details and passwords secure and private
• Create strong passwords and update regularly
• Don’t give out personal or financial details
• Report any bullying, harassment or unlawful behaviour
• Consider what you post online, such as sharing photos and videos
• Avoid opening emails or downloading attachments from unknown senders
• Supervise children using online services and digital technologies.
