Evolve returns for 2022

The City’s Evolve - Arts, Events and Culture Winter Program is back for another year with an exciting range of arts and cultural activities throughout July and August.

  • Arts, skills and cultural workshops - offers a unique chance for people to get hands on, practical and theoretical advice from industry leaders and experts.
  • Live performances - a series of live intimate performances showcasing local Western Australian musicians and performers. The performances will be suitable for a diverse audience, including children, adults and seniors.
  • Activations - there will be an exciting activation to encourage people in the community to attend local destinations (more information coming soon). 

The program creates opportunities for the community to learn from some of the State's most talented and experienced practising artists. The first four workshops include:

  • Saturday 16 July - Sustainable Botanical Watercolour Painting Workshop
  • Saturday 23 July - Magic Dale Kids Show and Workshop 
  • Saturday 30 July - Whimsical Watercolours for 8-15 years
  • Saturday 30 July - Whimsical Watercolours for teens and adults

Upcoming live performances:

  • Saturday 23 July - Magic Dale Kids Show and Workshop (suitable for ages 6-12) 
  • Saturday 6 August - Les Trois Amies (suitable for ages 18+)
  • Friday 12 August - Earl and Dave (suitable for ages 50+)

Bookings are essential. More workshops and events will be announced over the next two weeks.
