Changes to access of Ancestry Library Edition

In March 2020 when libraries around the world had to close their doors due to the global pandemic Ancestry decided to grant public library members temporary remote access so users could access the service outside the library. 

After nearly 2 years of temporary remote access, Ancestry has made the difficult decision to end remote access at the end of 2021.

Ancestry cares deeply about libraries and their patrons, but they have agreements with publishers and other business considerations that prevent them from offering remote access permanently.

Ancestry will still be available to access on the computers at South Perth and Manning Libraries.
