Keep your kids entertained this summer

Library 20 December 2019

South Perth Libraries are hosting a range of summer school holiday activities to educate and entertain your little ones.

The Under 5’s Summer Series covers everything from Rhythm and Rhyme, Water and Sensory Play, dance and movement, craft and a special storytime session. The sessions run throughout January across both libraries and are free, though bookings are required. Visit the Summer Series page on the City’s website for more information.

For those aged five years and above, why not make an ocean jar, a sensory masterpiece that puts an Australian spin on a snow globe?

For ages six and above, there’s a special Old Mill Storytime session with Kerry-Ann Winmar on Friday 10 January from 9.30-10.30am, an opportunity to learn more about coral reefs at South Perth or Manning Library on Wednesday 15 January, a Pirate Problems afternoon on Friday 17 January and a Watercolour Arts opportunity at the Old Mil on Thursday 23 January.

Drop In Summer Sessions continue over the break with Storytime and Board Games Afternoons.
