City’s libraries offer digital literacy training for over 50's

Library 3 January 2018

In 2018, the City’s libraries are introducing a new digital literacy program for people aged 50 and over.

The free program which begins on Wednesday 3 January 2018 will run every Wednesday throughout the year and is aimed at assisting people to navigate online to help them access services like email, internet banking or social networking.

The training forms part of the concept of lifelong learning, which is to deliver skills and confidence for community members to use technology and the internet.

South Perth and Manning library staff provide one-on-one training which can be booked as 30 or 60 minute sessions.

This program is offered in addition to the library’s free eResources training on the use of digital resources.

Bring in your mobile device and passwords or use one of the libraries’ computers.

To make a booking contact South Perth Library on 9474 0800 or Manning Library on 9474 0822.
