Drainage works - Labouchere Road, South Perth
The City will soon carry out drainage repairs along Labouchere Road, South Perth, between Angelo and Mends Streets, to improve the performance and serviceability of the existing drainage network.
Location: Angelo Street between Strickland Street and Waverley Street, South Perth (see map below).
Date: Tuesday 18 August - Thursday 20 August 2026
Duration: Approximately three days, weather permitting, between 9.00am and 3.00pm.
The works include cleaning the existing drainage system using a specialised vacuum truck, replacing one damaged drainage pit lid, and completing minor associated maintenance works.
The City will minimise disruptions where possible. Traffic management will be in place, and local residents and businesses will be notified by letter. Updates will be available on the City's Roads and Footpath Works web page.
