Footpath replacement - Gladstone Avenue between Mill Point Road and Jameson Street

The City previously advised that footpath replacement works on Gladstone Avenue, South Perth, would begin on Monday 6 October 2025. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the start date for this project has now been rescheduled.

The works, delivered as part of the City’s 2025/2026 Slab Replacement Program, will be confined to the street verge and will include removing old concrete slabs and constructing a new 1.5m wide in situ concrete footpath.

The City will undertake the works as follows:

Location: Gladstone Avenue between Mill Point Road and Jameson Street, South Perth (see map below)

New start date: Week commencing Monday 1 December 2025             

Duration:  Approximately four weeks, Monday to Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm (weather permitting).

Please note the works may not be carried out every day during this period.
