New riverside seating installed at Sir James Mitchell Park
Visitors to Sir James Mitchell Park can now enjoy five new benches installed along the foreshore.
The seating provides a spot to rest and take in views of the river and parklands, with three benches featuring extended accessible concrete pads to better accommodate wheelchair and pram users.
Located near the recently completed Hurlingham Living Stream Project Stage 1, the new facilities enhance both comfort and accessibility, supporting the City’s goal of creating active places and beautiful spaces.
