Upcoming George Burnett Leisure Centre Works
Upcoming works are scheduled inside the City’s George Burnett Leisure Centre in January and February, which will require temporary closures.
Annual maintenance works to the sports hall will take place from Monday 13 January to Wednesday 22 January inclusive. During this time, all hall usage will be unavailable. Regular and casual hall usage will recommence from Thursday 23 January.
Office refurbishment works will take place from Tuesday 28 January to Monday 3 February inclusive. During this time access to the Centre will be limited to individuals and groups with bookings only. City staff will not be on site during the office refurbishment works and swipe card access will be required for entry.
Important booking information:
- Bookings within other unaffected areas of the Centre including meeting and activity rooms will remain unaffected and will continue as usual throughout the above periods.
- Facility and park users who require swipe card collections from the Centre for the above periods will be contacted prior to arrange collection.
