San Cisco to headline the return of South Perth Sounds

Media Release 3 December 2024
Indie pop royalty San Cisco will headline South Perth Sounds when the free community event makes a huge comeback after a five-year break on 22 February 2025.

Roaring back with a vengeance with an epic lineup at Sir James Mitchell Park, South Perth Sounds will see San Cisco supported by none other than local pop rock band End of Fashion.

Hailing from Fremantle, San Cisco has become one of Australia’s most successful independent artists amassing multiple accolades, gold and platinum records, as well as Top 5 ARIA Charting Positions.

The three-piece band released its fifth studio album, Under The Light, in March and have garnered millions of streams and critical acclaim through the release of their previous albums, touring the world and selling out headline shows.

City of South Perth Mayor, Greg Milner said he was thrilled to welcome back one of the City’s most popular annual events.

“We are exceptionally proud of the line-up we’ve secured to mark South Perth Sounds’ exciting return,” he said.

“San Cisco and End of Fashion always put on a great show so we’re all in for a treat.

“We’re hoping to attract a large crowd of families and music enthusiasts from across Perth to enjoy these incredible bands under the stars at our beautiful Sir James Mitchell Park.”

South Perth Sounds, which will run from 5 to 8.30pm, is sponsored by Lotterywest, in partnership with Mentally Healthy WA’s Act Belong Commit campaign.
