Last chance to nominate for Community Citizen of the Year
Don’t forget to get your nominations in for the Community Citizen of the Year Awards before they close at the end of the month.
The Awards seek to recognise outstanding individuals and organisations that have made significant contributions to their local communities during the past year, or those who have given exceptional service over a sustained period.
These contributions can include but are not limited to education, health, fundraising, voluntary services, business, employment, sport, arts, environment, social inclusion, or any other area that contributes to the betterment of the community.
Previous winner Sarah Yates noted that the Award gave her a sense of purpose and acknowledgement.
As the owner of Our Ruby Girl, Sarah is a proud employer of people with disabilities and believes every person has the right to respect, understanding and equal opportunity.
If you would like to nominate someone who has made a significant contribution to the local community, visit the Citizenship Awards.
