Give your pre-loved items a new home

Have you got a pre-loved item that’s ready to find a new home?  

The City of South Perth is pleased to announce an upcoming community event aimed at promoting environmental responsibility and supporting those in need.  

Our Charity Drop-Off Day allows the community to donate unwanted household furniture, clothing, electronic items, and more to selected charities, including Starting over Support (SOS), Good Sammy’s, Vinnies, and Paraquad Industries. 

This drive-in-and-drop-off event will take place on Sunday 26 May, from 9am to 3pm, at the Bill Grayden Reserve Car Park in Como.  

Como and Mill Point Rotary volunteers will be on hand to assist with unloading items while residents remain in their vehicles. Where possible, items should be presented in boxes and bags. All items are to be clean and undamaged. Proof of residency is not required, and donations are accepted until 3pm. 

Residents who are unable to attend on the day are encouraged to donate items to the City’s Recycling Centre in Como during normal operating hours. 

Add the event to your calendar and don’t miss this opportunity to pass on your unwanted items.
