EasyPark data breach in Europe does not affect Australian and New Zealand users
Australian and New Zealand users of the EasyPark app have been reassured that none of their data was compromised as a result of the data breach experienced by the Easy Park Group in Europe on 10 December.
The EasyPark app continues to operate without disruption.
The cyber-attack did result in the unauthorised access of certain non-sensitive information from customers in Europe. Easy Park Group says they’ve taken swift measures, including halting the attack, notifying relevant authorities and reaching out to the affected customers.
The EasyPark Group security team, in collaboration with external security experts, are also working to put added security and privacy measures in place.
